Overview
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python and SQL with a passion for developing robust software solutions in the healthcare sector. Experience integrating with electronic medical records (EMRs) using the Health Level Seven (HL7) standard is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PostgreSQL.
- Build efficient and reusable data transformation modules.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data flow reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement automated testing suites and participate in code reviews.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in healthcare technology.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to support reliable integrations with our healthcare clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working with Python and SQL in a professional setting.
- Experience working with HL7 v2, FHIR, or other healthcare data exchange standards.
- Strong understanding modeling relational data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
