Junior Data Scientist

Inflo Health is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you will work on analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to improve our radiology follow-up management solution. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your data science skills in a healthcare technology setting and contribute to improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to radiology workflows and patient follow-ups
• Develop and implement machine learning models to predict and prevent missed follow-ups
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to integrate data insights into our SaaS solution
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assist in the development of data-driven features to enhance our product offering
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data collection and analysis methodologies
• Stay current with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, particularly in healthcare applications

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in data science or a related role
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of healthcare data structures and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
